Biography
A major Hindi and Maithili poet, novelist, and short story writer, known as 'Janakavi' (The People's Poet).
Contribution
Vaidyanath Mishra, better known by his pen name Nagarjuna, was a towering figure in modern Hindi and Maithili literature. His works often reflected the lives and struggles of the rural poor and were marked by their satirical tone and political commentary. He was a recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Award for his contributions to Maithili literature.
