Born in Patna, Guru Gobind Singh was a transformative leader who institutionalized the Sikh faith by founding the Khalsa warrior community in 1699. He introduced the Five Ks, the articles of faith that Sikhs wear. His birthplace, Takht Sri Patna Sahib, is one of the five most sacred sites (Takhts) in Sikhism, making Bihar a place of immense religious importance for Sikhs worldwide.
